At NCYO, we aim to make a lasting impact in the San Francisco community and beyond. Our initiatives and activities are designed to catalyze true transformation. But above all, passion is at the heart and soul of everything we do. The North-Cal Youth Symphony (NCYO) is located in Fremont, California, and is a rising star and the finest youth orchestra in the United States West Coast. Founded by the Ignite Music Society, NCYO has a rich musical performance and education tradition. We provide opportunities for young artists with an enriching experience with classical and contemporary music.

Music is a rich art form. Whether it’s an inspiring note or a commitment to composing music from the heart, I’ve embraced these traditions while establishing a few of my own since first embarking on a career as a professional composer. I’ve managed to create luminous sounds and express music in unimaginable ways.
